Key Person System
Each Child is given a key person from their first day at Nursery through to when they leave.
The key person will :
*ensure a regular two way flow of information is maintained between parent and provider
*ensure that the individual needs of each child is met through close observations
*arrange reviews with the parents every three months to discuss the child's progress
*help a baby / child become familiar and settled into the new environment
*help make the child feel safe and confident
*establish a strong bond with the child and build a close relationship
*meet the needs of the child in their care and respond sensitively to their behaviour, feelings and ideas
